Niki's - Detroit

We visited Detroit to try the famous Detroit-style pizza on a Tuesday night at 7:00 PM. Niki's was conveniently located just around the corner from our hotel, so we decided to give it a go. At first, I was concerned because the place was quite empty, which made me wonder if it would be any good. Thankfully, I was completely wrong! Both the service and the food were fantastic. We ordered a Greek salad for one, which was plenty to share, and a small pizza. The server accidentally brought us a larger pizza but only charged us for the small one, which was very nice of her. One thing to note: the sausage on the pizza is not the typical Italian variety; instead, it has a flavor similar to Polish kielbasa, which is nestled under the cheese.
