New Tai Hing - Detroit

This has to be the garbage truck juice of Chinese food. My husband went to order me egg foo young patties and came back with shrimp in it, it looked like baby cat kidneys. I saved the food and took it back. When I got there I was informing the young delusional worker behind the counter this was a big box of grease and she went on to lie and say egg Foo young patties have no taste until you put the gravy on them which I replied your gravy taste like flour and grease . I also went on to inform them about my culinary skills and that it's a shame I can cook this ethnic dish better than them she proceeded with try and get I rate with me so I said have a nice day and left. TERRIBLE!!!! I bought shrimp and broccoli meal, and they added fried shrimp, that had been sitting, (suppose to be raw), and with the gravy that was also nasty, it was mushy, I guess they thought that I wouldn't notice, but at first glance, I said why does my shrimp look like it had stuff on it, like it had growths on it. Won't be buying from here again.

I gave them 1 ???? because there's no option to give 0 stars. This place used to located about 5 minutes away from Belle Isle in Detroit. E. Jefferson Holcomb . It was a rough looking street/area but it was green light with a high police presents. So, that why we went there the food was good all the time, cooked well and they even had made to order sushi too. Then, they moved on Greenfield and it's horrible. The food is super greasy like soy bean oil or something not healthy for you . The gravy is like bland water, egg foo young is super thick with no flavor and has a burst taste to it. Anything that should be crispy is soggy and vice versa. I complained and was told new mgmt... Sorry..???? I guess popularity precedes quality and customer care. Definitely won't go back .

The egg foo young was big patties, the sweet and sour chicken was crispy and not don't feel and was actually white meat.

Ordered a combo...the charged extra for an eggrool then forgot my duck sauce and forgot to add my spicy hot to schezuan shrimp and my extra shrimp...I will not eat here again....
