The property offers natural hot springs; a place to unwind heal ...away from the grind of the city. I am quite snobbish about where I dine; I really love Essence. I love the decor, the menu, the simplicity, the service, and the entertainment. The menu dishes are highly suitable for vegans vegetarians ,and yet will not disappoint carnivores. One of the best restaurants I've been to in around Palm Desert.
We had a birthday lunch for my husband and wanted something different. Essense provided just that. We walked through the tranquil grounds so get to the restaurant. We passed a meditation pool and saw people engaged in tai chi. The beautiful palm tree were inviting and cooling. The restaurant was open and calm. I had a burger with parmesan fries. My husband had the salmon. Both meals were delicious! Best yet, it was organic and flavorful. We sat by the window and had an amazing view.
My wife and I have experienced many excellent restaurants in Germany and abroad and found the cuisine at TBP exceptional. The food is objectively excellent, beautiful and well executed. Very recommend the Kimchi Carbonara and Jidori Chicken on their dinner menu – we both absolutely loved the unique flavors and creative spin on these classics. Staff are all so friendly and professional!
Fantastic restaurant! I absolutely loved the gluten-free waffles and salads! Although I wasn’t staying at the resort, I decided to stop by for lunch after spending the day at another property because the menu looked so enticing, and I was not disappointed! The staff was very professional, and they even provided me with an outdoor table so I could make a business call while enjoying my meal.
I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan dishes, even though I also eat meat; it was a refreshing and healthy change. The cream of broccoli soup, made without cream or cheese, was fantastic and packed with broccoli flavor. The oyster mushrooms served with potatoes were also delicious. The beet salad was excellent as well, and the server's suggestion to add greens made it even better. My only complaint is that the prices are quite high for what you receive, but considering the beautiful setting, I suppose it's justified. Be prepared for a lot of stairs to get to the restaurant, but the views are worth it—enjoy!
