Taste Of Africa - Des Moines

I was really impressed by this restaurant. I wasn't completely sure what to expect, but I love trying new experiences. The service and food were outstanding. The atmosphere was also very clean and comfortable. Parking can be a bit challenging, so I suggest parking in the lot directly south of the restaurant and walking for about half a block.

This restaurant offers excellent food and has very friendly owners. The atmosphere is lovely, with Somali men socializing at the tables, adding to the charm. The Goat Liver is a must-try, and the daily Rice Special was outstanding. I can't wait to return and sample more dishes. I also tried the Somali tea for the first time, and it reminded me of Chai. I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this wonderful little spot!

The food was incredible, and the staff were fantastic. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch and can't emphasize enough how delicious the food was! I had the chicken curry with rice.

Phenomenal. I got the steak and rice and a coffee and mango juice and it came with a banana. The hot sauce is great too. Spices everything just delicious. Sad to be full, but I will be back every time I'm in town. I can eat a lot and I got very full for $10.
