They offer several varieties, and my favorite is the amazing pork version. It’s always served warm and delicious. And let’s not forget the Cashew Chicken and Mandel Gai Ding. These dishes come with generous chunks of white meat chicken, plenty of cashews, and lots of sliced almonds. Trust me, you won't regret trying them! This is the classic Cantonese/American Chinese cuisine I grew up with in Chicago. The fried rice here is the best in Des Moines, and the egg foo young is perfection. The lovely family behind this restaurant takes great pride in their food and service, and they never compromise on either!

The restaurant has a calm and peaceful atmosphere, and the staff are very welcoming. I tried the sweet and tangy shrimp dinner, which was decent, though I personally prefer when the tails are left on. However, the standout dish for me was definitely the egg rolls—they're a must-try and could easily serve as a meal on their own. Additionally, there’s ample parking available outside, which is a bonus.
