Java Joes Coffee House - Des Moines

Great coffee place, cool Gipsy meet Broadway atmosphere, and customer service is awesome. We need more places like this in America.

Really neat looking spot with a lot of fun coffee/breakfast oriented cocktails. I'm not sure why the online menu mentions Indian fare because they don't seem to have that (or maybe it's only at dinner time? Friendly service. Was kinda expecting chunks of ham in my breakfast bowl, rather than sandwich ham, but it certainly looked pretty.

Nice atmosphere. Great selection of coffees and teas (although the didn't have some of the ones on their menu).

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to visit Java Joe's when there were no virus warnings and the stock market was still thriving. I managed to find street parking just a short walk away...

It doesn't quite make sense to pour steaming hot coffee into a cup full of ice and think it will result in iced coffee. The ice had melted before I even had a chance to hold the cup.
