Bauder's Donut King - Des Moines

Such a delightful old-school vibe! My friend and I enjoyed cherry cokes made with real Coca-Cola syrup. The tuna melt was fantastic, and for dessert, we had a peppermint ice cream sandwich. We couldn’t resist grabbing two frosted giant donuts to save for later! The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was charming and unique. The restaurant is filled with vintage pharmacy bottles and memorabilia that adds to the nostalgia. Overall, a great experience!

I can't tell who enjoys this place more—me or my toddler! The doughnuts are delicious, the ice cream is the best in Des Moines, and the family-run atmosphere is fantastic.
