フィードバックを提供するWe decided to try this restaurant for lunch after not visiting for several years. However, we faced the same issue as before - after getting our hot food, we had to wait in line behind customers only purchasing drinks or cold food to pay. As a result, our hot meal turned cold while we waited. Finding a table was also a challenge. Despite there being a designated area for diners with dogs, it was full of people without pets. Perhaps a sign should indicate that those without dogs should dine in the main area, where there were plenty of empty tables. The staff could also use some training in making coffee, as the flat white I ordered was not what I received (see photo). Despite these issues, it is overall a nice place to visit.
We stopped by for a coffee and slice of cake while checking out the Christmas markets. Despite it being a busy Monday, there were two areas to order drinks from. The left side had more selection, but the right side had a shorter queue. We chose the right side and were served by a friendly and tall gentleman with a double-barreled name. He was engaging and had a good laugh with us as he prepared our drinks. However, an elderly gentleman tried to cut in line and demand service. Our server politely informed him of the queue and asked him to wait his turn. It was refreshing to see the server handle the situation professionally. Well done!
The food quality is mediocre at best and the prices are too high. Exploiting tourists is unacceptable.
Looks beautiful but the food was at best average and disappointing. Some nice staff, some rude and unfriendly. Upkeep of the dining area could be far better than it is. You can only dine out on your location so far, the catering services definitely need to up their game particularly as the cost doesn’t reflect the experience.
We ordered coffee at The Courtyard Coffee 'shack ' as we were sitting outside with the dog. Very slow service, the two members of staff didn 't seem to know what they were doing. The people before me in the queue ordered Cappuccino and a flat white ..which was made and served in exactly the same way as the Latte that I subsequently ordered. And, when I asked for a double espresso was treated like I had asked for something really difficult rather than the easiest coffee to make. They referred to it (not on menu) as an espresso with an extra shot! The milk in the latte had been heated to the point of being burnt ..and in both cases the coffee flavour was not good. Now I realise that we are at Chatsworth and nothing is cheap ..but £7.20 for these two significantly sub-standard coffees is outrageous. I know the hospitality industry is struggling for staff, but this is not an excuse for lack of training when you do have staff. So either train them properly or don 't serve barista coffee.
