Wendy's - Derby

I have to say, this isn't my first disappointing experience at this Wendy's location, which is why I try to avoid it. If I could, I would give it zero stars. I ordered bacon cheese fries, but somehow my order got messed up and I received "no bacon and extra cheese," which was not what I asked for. I ended up throwing the whole thing in the trash because it was inedible—more than half of the container was just cheese. I'm really disappointed in how Wendy's service has declined over time. I could understand if there were long lines or if the restaurant was packed, but we were the second car in the drive-thru and the place was empty inside. I feel like I wasted both my time and money on a place that clearly doesn’t care about the quality of their food. It's just terrible. Avoid this location unless you're okay with throwing your money away.

I generally avoid writing negative reviews, but I couldn't overlook my experience this time. I stopped by for a quick meal, and while the restaurant was clean, I encountered several issues. The soda machines were completely empty, one of the ice dispensers was out of order, and there were no napkins or cutlery available. It was clear that everything needed to be restocked. I usually enjoy dining at Wendy's and prefer it over many other fast food options. It's a convenient choice when I'm short on time. However, I recognize that this is a franchise, and this particular location definitely needs some improvement.

The food was served cold, particularly the fries. When I brought this up, they did give me a fresh batch, but my burgers still seemed cool to the touch, not even warm, when I got my hot fries. I ordered three meals in total. I won’t be returning unless I'm absolutely famished and no other places are open. The staff were also quite rude. I recommend avoiding the Wendy's on Whalley Avenue.

The woman working the drive thru this afternoon (9/19 12:30ish) was incredibly rude. Rushed me my entire order. When there was no straw in the bag, I asked for one, and she forced it into my hand saying, “Check the bag next time.” and slammed the window. Every time I come to this location, the service is awful. Wendy’s is not worth ruining your mood. Glad to see it’s not just me and other reviews are similar. Won’t be back.

Well, the photos describe it all. I ordered here a couple of days ago, took the food home, and as soon as I took the first bite, a long hair inbeded in the meat patty. Needless to say I threw up a couple of times that night and the following day. I don't think I'll be coming to this location or any Wendy's for the foreseeable future. If this is the level of hygiene that they aspire too, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Best to stay away from here.
