Sushi Hai Japanese Steak - Denver

It was our first time here and the service was great. There are so many options for sushi and everything was really well done. Very filling/large portions.

Looked forward to getting back to Sushi Hai after some period of a reduction in our dining out adventures. Had good anticipation about being able to just walk down on a pleasant evening to the 32nd Lowell location (especially given that parking anywhere near there has become, essentially, impossible). Unfortunately, the Dining Gods were not favoring us that Friday evening, as the service was far too casual and lacking overall (wine didn 't come without a reminder from us, sushi course didn 't come as ordered due to forgetfulness , perhaps), and the food seemed, well, kinda blah , without imagination, in its prep. Wish that wasn 't so, and especially given what a full sushi dinner meal costs.

We went to the restaurant for a date night on Sunday, and was pretty good experience.

We frequently dine here but last night was our first comedy experience. It was a lot of fun and there was a variety of comedians. Each of them had fairly short sets but it kept things fresh and moving along. I would rate each of the comedians (I think there were 7 total) from good to excellent. And the food and service was good and on par with their normal. We will be making this a Thursday night tradition!

We had a nice dinner. The food and service were good. Prices were reasonable.
