Root Down - Denver

Service was very attentive without hovering. We loved everything we ordered Thai carrot soup, lamb sliders, beets salad, rockfish tom Kha. Acoustics great quiet enough to talk even though the restaurant was pretty full.

Top shelf service, food and drinks (as usual). Always an outstanding experience at Root Down the new winter menu was yummy! Looking forward to returning soon. Cheers

Eating was on point and our server Mondo was perfect. Love the new menu (burrata Toast is amazing). Only disappointment was that the beet salad became smaller and no longer has full beet.

The best dish I had was a beet salad. The main shell sides were too greasy or impossible to cut into pieces. Too expensive for what I have.

The food was great, but the service was disappointing. Server seemed a little rude and didn't talk much when orders or food expire. After the payment you dropped and didn't even look at us. Server also discouraged us from ordering the restaurant weekly menu that felt strange. Not sure what we did wrong, but in such a nice place it wasn't great to have that.
