This place is a cool place with records, shirts, playboys and delicious drinks. However it is very clear that there is lack of management. The staff is very friendly and fun but unorganized. They were all over the place. The worst part was the deli case. It looked extremely old and gross. Half empty drinks were in the case, the salads had a dried layer theybwere so old. We decided it didn't look safe to eat.
The most delicious BLT I've had in a very long time! Larimer Records made it fun to get out and have lunch with a friend. Very COVID conscious. I liked having a reservation knowing my table was ready. This was my first time visiting Larimer Records Cafe but definitely not my last!
Made a reservation to have food and drinks for Valentines Day. Arrived on time, no one greeted or informed us where to sit. Walked halfway into the establishment and was told by someone who was bussing to just take a seat anywhere. (Why would you offer reservations if this is how you operate? . Either way, took a seat and proceeded to look over the menu and choose our options. No one approached the table to take our order so we went up to the bar thinking that this is what we would need to do. After a few people behind the bar looked at us like we were idiots, someone finally came up to us to see what was up. We were then told that they were not serving food because of the weather. (Once again, you think that this would be something that is communicated...especially when someone makes a reservation . Ended up leaving and going to a neighboring restaurant that had an available table. Was a big fan of the previous establishment at this address and very bummed to see that this is what replaced that iconic Denver deli.
