Check out the menus between the two (walk in vs tea room) to see what you want as they seem to be a littledifferent. It is served family style so going with a bigger group could be fun to try even more dishes. Every dish had so muchflavor and were all different. We got the: big on the pig, beef xiao long bao, Kobe beef short rib dumplings, char siu bao andthe green beans. The only one we wouldn?t get again would be the soup dumplings simply because they are a little bigger thantraditional ones so harder to eat, but the sauces are so good. Highly recommend checking it out for fun food and good vibe.
I recommend this place the atmosphere is really great with beautiful colors and lighting. The drink menu is satisfying and the food menu has a great selection, I LOVED the Duck Noodle Soup. The broth was so rich that I had to drink every last drop. Pricesare very reasonable, I will be stopping by in the future!
First time in, we needed some late night food after visiting the Denver Art Museum and happened upon this incredibly satisfying experience! Great ambiance, our bartender Kirby welcomed us with a big smile and friendly conversation, and the recommendationsfor food were out of this world good! At Kirby?s recommendation, we shared the Drunken Empress Noodles with Prawns, and theprawns were like the fanciest jumbo shrimp you?ve ever seen the flavors, oh my gosh. We can?t wait to come back!
First time here and we really enjoyed it. It's definitely more fusion than traditional dim sum or Chinese food. We ordered Big on the pig (pork dumpling), shrimp craklins that came with the bao buns, shrimp shumai, Philly cheese steak dumping, Sweet soypork belly bao bun, and beef XLB. We also had 2 HH old fashioned, 1 white rascal beer, 1 lucky cat (mug comes with), and 2 chun li. The drinks were very good. We didn't have a reservation, arrived at 5.45pm. we sat at the bar downstairs as theupstairs were full but I really wanted to try their street food menu more. They have different menus: tap room and tea roomwhich is upstairs. Couple of comments: the shrimp shumai felt like it was store bought from frozen section but it tastes goodoverall because of the garnish and additional veggies and sauce. The big on the pig, not 100 percent sure if they were homemadebut they steamed them real well and the chili oil was perfect spice. The Philly cheese steak dumpings sauce was a little bittoo sweet but my bf loved it. My most saddest comment is the beef XLB which is the soup dumplings, there were no soup at all, however, I didn't care for the dipping sauce that came with it. The presentation was soooooo cute! I ended up eating them withthe big on the pig sauce! One recommendation: I would put the shrimp craklins in a separate bowl than under the bao bunsbecause these chips supposed to be served crispy. These chips comes with the bao buns. The seasoning on them were verygood. Our bill was $160+tips. I would come back and try their other street food menu!!! Keep up the good work!!!
We've walked by this place a number of times, but had our first chance to stop in on Saturday. So many things on the menu looked good that we intentionally over-ordered so we could have leftovers. The food presentation was excellent and the flavorswere stellar. While we enjoyed everything, our 2 favorites were the Big on the Pig (pork dumplings) and the Drunken Empresswith chicken. We will definitely be back, as there is a lot on the menu we'd like to try.
