Deltona Ice Cream

The ice cream at this place is always a solid five stars, and the female manager has consistently been very kind (by the way, that young couple who used to come here is engaged now!). However, there are several aspects of the business that could use improvement, especially considering how long they've been operating. I’ll keep this brief since it’s a review. They should consider enhancing security, hiring more competent staff (or at least those who act professionally), improving curb appeal, and putting up clear signage about their closing time and procedures. I've lived in the area for over a decade and have visited this restaurant countless times, and these are the only factors that ever take away from the experience of enjoying that fantastic ice cream. I hope this feedback is taken as constructive criticism rather than negativity; I truly appreciate the quality and simply want to see it continue to improve.

I just visited the drive-thru and ordered a large strawberry cheesecake. However, I was disappointed to find that the bottom of the cup was empty, and the top wasn't filled all the way. For the price, I expected more than just that little bit of ice cream. Ben & Jerry’s strawberry cheesecake tastes just as good, if not better, and I always get a full container! I think I'll stick with Ben & Jerry's from now on since the value is definitely better.

I've been to this ice cream shop four times now, and the ice cream is quite good. However, on my most recent visit, the young lady who took my order got it wrong. I’m not upset about it, but her customer service could use some improvement. Fortunately, on my other visits, the staff was much more attentive and did a great job. I also appreciate that the prices for the ice cream are quite reasonable compared to other places, especially considering the current economic situation. That said, I think they could improve the containers they use, as my ice cream was served in a styrofoam cup. Overall, they just need to work on their packaging and service.

This place rocks! It's been around since I was a kid, so at least 25 years. Ice cream is made locally and it shows. It's an old school ice cream parlor that brings back memories. Butterscotch Malt milkshake is off the chain! ????????

Terrible service. Walked in and five girls working. All chatting. Waited over 15 mins before they asked us what we wanted with an attitude. She acted like she was mad she had to stop socializing to do her job. She even made the comment to one of hercoworkers that she bets she won?t even get a tip. Well I did tip her even though we should have just left and taken our businesselsewhere.
