A Proper Garden - Delaware

A Proper Garden boasts an impressive and extensive range of plants! I really appreciate how the flowering perennials are organized by color, along with the spacious walkways that make it easy to navigate through the displays. They have a fantastic selection of large planters, and I noticed some pavers and landscaping materials tucked away in a corner, suggesting that they likely cater to an upscale clientele. The gift shop is truly remarkable, offering a diverse array of unique and elegant home goods. If you plan to visit, be sure to bring a well-filled wallet!

I came across this lovely little shop while driving and decided to stop in. It features a delightful variety of tableware and decorative items. They had a selection of pansy flowers and a few indoor plants, though there weren't many available—perhaps due to our visit being in the spring. Unfortunately, the café was closed during our visit, so we missed out on trying any of their offerings. I should also note that the prices in the shop were quite high!

I've typically had a good experience at this restaurant, but during my visit tonight, a dog was present. This made the atmosphere uncomfortable for those of us who are afraid of dogs or have allergies. It raises concerns about potential allergens on the tables and chairs, which makes me hesitant to return in the future. Because of this, I wouldn't feel comfortable dining here again.

Beautiful store and wonderful food. A bit pricey for me but it is well worth the trip to decide for yourself. Magicians in art deco.

My first time visit to this enchanted treasure destination! Each one of your senses will be pleasured. Owner Bob Van Cura has created the ultimate luxury exhibition! Inspirational floral designs, stunning Mackenzie-Childs creations, elegant outdoor furnishings, exotic flourishing plant life surrounded by fountains for every decor. Last but not least visit the old style European Bistro to reserve your table for a intimate luncheon. A must experience!
