Bea's Wok N Roll - DeKalb

It's a good restaurant and the owner and employees were very courteous. The Pad Thai was a little odd, might have been a version I was not used to. Still tasted good though!

I think this is the best Vietnam restaurant in the Chicagoland area. Food is very fresh and carefully cooked. Homemade noodles are to die for as you see in the photos.

Totally not what I expected. Food had a funny frozen, cooker, refrigerated, reheated taste. Made sense because I heard a microwave go off just before we got our food. I wouldn't call this Vietnamese food or any Asian dish. Spring roll/Shrimp tastes like it was just thawed out, no herbs or mint. The dipping sauce had too much chili flake and was overall spicy, not nutty. Beas pad thai and beef stir fry were so disappointing. Taste like soy sauce and the dipping sauce mentioned above. My first time trying this place. Fantastic! The flavors are awesome. We had the dumplings, beef soup, spicy rangoons, and spicy chicken curry. Can’t believe I’ve never eaten here. Easily my new favorite spot in town.

Great food at a reasonable price! Very nice service from Bea!
