Cattle Drive Bbq - Deer Park

I have taken an order to bring home, I have loved the old owners here forever hearing that they are new owners now.... Drum roll...and he did not disappoint the spud potato was excellent and I think really bigger than before... enjoy excellent workers were beautiful and polite... pretty sure that the owner was there and he was great, that is a deer park landmark small restaurant, we need to keep her alive it is worth it.

Would give 1000 stars!!! The bbq sandwich was delicious and the heart attack fries are a must get when you go!!! There was more than enough and the banana pudding was a delight! Highly recommend them and we will be back!!!

My family and I have been loyal customers of Cattle Drive for decades, and their beef dishes have always been outstanding. While I’m sure the other menu items are great, I’m particularly attached to their beef 'spuds.' The quality of the potatoes is consistently high, and the meat and sauce are absolutely delicious, making for a generous meal. We've tried various barbecue spots around Houston, but we believe Cattle Drive serves the best beef spud. A note on accessibility: my wife uses a wheelchair, and we’ve always found the staff very helpful with seating arrangements and other logistical questions. There's a young lady who often takes our lunch orders (I can’t recall her name) who is especially kind to my wife and has even helped us with our tablets at the table when I had my hands full, all without us needing to ask. I was shocked to see some negative reviews on Google. Our experience has consistently been 100% positive, even during the pandemic. While everyone has off days, my family has never been let down by Cattle Drive’s food or service. The only minor critique I could offer is that our clothes end up smelling like smoke after eating there, but honestly, that's a small price to pay for such amazing barbecue. Although we live about 40 minutes away from Cattle Drive, the journey is always worth it!

We visited this restaurant on Saturday, and it was my first experience there—absolutely amazing! The chicken was flavorful on its own, but when paired with the BBQ sauce, it was simply perfect. The cut beef was so tender that it practically fell apart. The potatoes were delicious by themselves, but I decided to add a bit of BBQ sauce, and it took them to another level. Although we live in town, we will definitely be returning!
