Texas Roadhouse - Decatur

I went to dinner with my mom and we said we had to wait outside or in the car. no statement was submitted. it was a cool windy day, and they have benches inside, so I don't understand that customers are unnecessarily unpleasant. Once we were able to get inside and sit down, the food and service were great, but I feel like the initial greeting and said to wait outside, reduced the total experience. more than likely I will choose another restaurant for our next trip.

I had the most pleasant experience at Texas Roadhouse when traveling through Decatur for business. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and I was sat right away. I also had a great server named Kaitlyn on my receipt because I can never remember. I saw her running all sorts of trays and carrying loads of dirty dishes. I asked how many tables she had, she said just 3 but that she was helping others since she had time while waiting on my food. Will be back again.

We tried calling ahead due to having a larger party and after being on hold they literally answered the phone to hang right up on us three times. This lead to having to wait at the restaurant and them elongate the wait we tried to avoid and to be polite in calling ahead. They also had us wait outside or in our cars, which again could’ve been avoided if they answered the phone instead of hearing the hostess say her name and then hang up abruptly. Our waitress was amazing and the food was alright. All steaks cooked incorrectly and for the price you should just go to a steak house. All in all, we just tried being considerate and responsible and being hung up on is just unprofessional.

Our experience at DECATUR AL roadhouse WAS different FOR me AND my wife. She said her meal was great,BUT mine, excuse my answer, but my meal sucked. I ordered COUNTRY FRIED steak. The steak was huge and so hard it WAS hard TO cut or eat, that is the crust. THE steak inside, what LITTLE was there, you could hardly chew it. Now the staff was great, and THE waitress was very nice AND helpful. This was my second bad experience at THE SAME location, that time with a prime rib, and then to wy WIFE and grand daughter enjoyed there meal. I will go back TO TEXAS roadhouse and hopefully get a good experience.

Me and my hubby went for dinner and was greeted with kindness and punctuality. The staff was very welcoming and energetic! Our server was Carolyn and she was the absolute best!!!!! The food was awesome too!!! I hope everyone gets the same experience we did!!
