El Camino Real - Decatur

Last night for dinner. Food was excellent. Everyone in our party suffered their food. Service was another thing. Kellner was more concerned with football game and let us wait to order, then get the bill and finally pay the bill.

I'm here three days ago. They sat within 2 minutes, which is excellent considering that they were packed for dinner rush. As soon as we set ourselves, we were quickly brought with drinks. We ordered our 2 meals, and they came out, no joke within 10 minutes. They were hot and very tasty! I was shocked how fast the food came, I thought we were waiting near an hour. Very satisfied with people and services.

Their tacos alambre are the best I've had (and I've travelled quite a bit)! Chips and salsa are great too! Great service, friendly staff! We are regulars here!

We've been here twice now, and while the food is good, the flavors are pretty basic, similar to many large restaurants. I wish they would enhance the seasoning for those of us who truly enjoy bold flavors in our meals. My companion really enjoyed the Carnitas Chimichangas; the meat was juicy and tender. However, the chicken was a bit dry. I found the original Margarita to be much better than the raspberry flavor. If you're looking to savor the taste of the tequila, I recommend ordering an extra shot on the side! The waiter mentioned they were using their house tequila for the drinks.

My family and I dined here for lunch, and I aimed to arrive around 11 when they opened, as I was concerned about the potential crowd, like a typical Sunday morning. To my surprise, we were among the first customers! All the employees were friendly and attentive. Our waiter brought us drink refills without us having to ask, which I really appreciated. The food arrived promptly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Overall, I rate El Camino Real and its staff a perfect 10/10. We don’t have family dinners very often, so this delightful experience made our quiet time together feel even more special.
