They cube their salmon in larger pieces than other poke restaurants, so this is the spot to go if you want super fresh hearty chunks of salmon in your bowl (unfortunately my pic does a bad job of showing them off since they are buried by all my toppings)! All the other toppings were fresh and delicious too (I got Maui onions, scallions, crispy fried onions, avocado, furikake, spicy mayo and eel sauce) and the white rice was well prepared!
I stopped in today to try this place out and it did not disappoint! There was a new girl training but the teamwork and communication was excellent so you couldn 't even tell she was in training! The vibes of this place are very surf shack and makes me think about the beach. I totally dig the relaxed atmosphere and the customer service was fantastic. I love these little hidden gems. It was kind of hard to find, but it is definitely worth the u-turn I had to make. Don 't sleep on this place, the food is fresh and da bomb. I work down the street and will definitely be sending my skincare clients over for some fresh and healthy eats! Vegetarian options: Lots of build your own options. Everything made to order, easy to create vegetarian and vegan options.
I've lived in Debary for years and never noticed this little spot on 17-92. Doesn't look like much on the outside but inside is cute and gives you beach vibes. Good selection of bases for the poke bowls as well as protein options. Fresh and very large portion for $14! Will definitely be stopping back in as this has become my favorite treat that I don't feel guilty about.
This place is excellent! Great vibe inside and it's perfect for covid as there is only outdoor seating. Food is delicious as well with great portions! Definitely check out some of their specialty bowls, they get really creative. Highly recommend.
Tupat 's Island Bowl. The sauce was literally covering everything on the bowl leaving no other flavor profile but the sauce. All that sauce everywhere made it look hella messy. If you 're going to call it Da Kine (a Hawaii lingo known by islanders) Poké please keep the sauce on the fish and NOT on everything else. Or ask your customers if they 've ate there before so you can explain or give a picture of the end product. I 'm not even going to go there with the attitude of the server, smh. Pretty disappointed.
