Subway - Dayton

My favorite Subway restaurant in the Greater Dayton area! I eat here frequently! Neil, Heather, and Crystal all do a fabulous job. They are quick and keep the line moving along. So even during a busy lunch-hour rush, the wait is never long! Of course, the subs are great and the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are wonderful!

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Subway now offers a new spinach wrap. It's a top choice for a healthy and affordable lunch spot, located in a friendly downtown area that is easily accessible by transit bus and centrally located. The lunchtime crowd is always buzzing with activity.

I ordered the Veggie Delight Footlong sandwich. I chose to have it on 9-Grain bread with a variety of fresh veggies and sauces including honey mustard, ranch, and sweet onion. The sandwich was delicious, with the bread being tasty and the veggies being crisp. The combination of sweet onion and honey mustard added a great flavor. The restaurant was small, but it was one of the only options in the area. It was a bit challenging to find while driving as there wasn't a Subway marker on the sidewalk.

The staff here is beyond friendly. Although, whoever manages them should take note of this. Downtown Dayton can be a dangerous place. I came down one morning to a single woman working. An aggressive and confrontational customer came in and she had to ward him off alone. Either she deserves a raise or at least two people need to be working there at one time.

The workers there repeatedly expressed how unhappy they should work there and they were not happy to serve the food. I didn't even want to eat it.
