Jack London Grill - Dawson

This was our favourite restaurant in Dawson. My daughter loved to come here and eat. I loved it because the service was great. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, at different days of course. The breakfast crew was a bit rushed but totally understood since it was Saturday and things were a bit crazy. The food was amazing. Standard breakfast foods. Lunch and dinner staff were on the ball. Everything went smooth, always offered a special with some kind of fancy soup. Hailey was usually our server and she was amazing always asked my Daughter how camp was going. My daughter loved that. The food was amazing, the salads were my favourite, chicken strips were my daughters favourite.

We ate here the day we left for lunch and it was very good. The people are very nice and our meal was delicious.

I had the Mexican bean soup and my daughter had a decent buffalo pot pie with an insanely huge bowl of fresh beets. The soup was okay but the pot pie was tasty (I took a smidgen) and surprisingly smaller than the never-ending bottomless bowl of beets which I just couldn't finish (my daughter dislikes beets). If I ever return to Dawson City, I would try this restaurant again because I do like my beets.

We had breakfast in the grill. The decor was unique and had lots of pictures. The menu was typical breakfast options. The breakfast quesadilla was large and filling -- the family each enjoyed their breakfast items. Service was great - the coffee kept coming! Hashbrowns were chunks of fried potatoes. Was a good choice for breakfast.

They were very busy and didn't have enough staff to keep up w busing tables. The menu had a lot of variety and everything was cooked properly. It was also nice and quiet. We'd go back!
