Parsennhütte - Davos Dorf

As usual we visit the restaurant parsennhhutte from time to time. they must be booked in time. the menu and drink list is long and varied, with reasonable trips for lunch menus and even bottled wines. the service is friendly and very fast. the chef de cuisine welcomes the customers with a walk through the restaurant!

The restaurant Parsennhütte has a bar, a self serving restaurant as well a sit down one. The sit down restaurant has excellent menues, a reservation is a must.

My friend and I stopped there for a quick lunch and everything was just fine.Location: this restaurant is indeed located in a very busy place in Davos's ski piste network. It is therefore very busy. You can pick the sit-down restaurant or the self-service area. For the restaurant, a reservation is recommended. My friend and I picked the self service area, as the restaurant was full.Quality: I must say, for a self service type place, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I started with a small goulash (which was actually not that small) and continued with the breaded pork schnitzel and fries. It was all very good. No complaints there.Service: even though the place was busy, the folks behind the counter were still very nice and seemed happy to help us. The lady at the checkout was equally friendly. In many such places, employees just go through the motion and you feel treated much like a cattle being herded about. But I didn't get that feeling here.Price: well, on the self service side, things are slightly cheaper, with many entrees between 15 and 20 CHF.Overall, it was a good experience. The menu offers a nice variety of choices, the quality was good, the prices are decent, and considering the volume, the service was friendly. Due to wind and cold temps, we are inside, but there is also a nice terrace where you can eat your lunch and enjoys some warm sun. I would definitely eat there again. Enjoy!

Parsenn Hütte is where all pistes ends up on the mountain, the self-service is always crowded, expensive and offer tiny portions of tasteless food. Take instead the gondola up to the Restaurant at Wessfluh Joch which in all simplicity has nice and not overpriced food.
