Neon Cafe - Datong District

Can’t remember what it used to be, but now it’s a cafe/bar where, in the evenings, you can order food from next door. have been here on a hot summer afternoon for a beer to quench my thirst and reprieve from the heat, as well as at night for a few martinis. the drinks are solid, the staff is chill. sometimes the place can get a bit overrun with loud obnoxious white men in later afternoons/evenings. otherwise, it’s a go-to for me for a low-frills hang.

The place changed the name, maybe also the ownership. Good beer but bad service. The food is from the Japanese restaurant just beside. I tryed to order a BBQ after a while but never came. The bartender was busy with his friend to give us service... Next time I just go to that Japanese restaurant, was full and everything looks amazing.

Called for reservation and they told us to walk-in. But when we reached the cafe, it was under renovation. Wasted trip..

My god the slowest service in the world. How can my toast with ordinary jam take almost an hour to make. The staff don't look like they want to work. Anyways it's cute...
