Even the savoury courses. <br/ <br/ I didn’t know what to expect but by the end of the degustation I was blown away. It’s ingenious, creative, experimental, immersive and there is nothing else like it in Sydney. Every course was a flavour sensation and well worth the value of $130 which included matching non-alcoholic drinks. There is an option to upgrade to alcoholic drinks for $50 extra.<br/ <br/ It’s an intimate space where the guests are encouraged to go into the kitchen and watch the two chefs at work. Every course was explained in detail by one of the chefs.<br/ <br/ The ingredients and produce are seasonal and locally sourced and expect the unexpected when you go. #gelatomessina #dessertbar #degustation
LOVE this icecream. So rich and creamy and delicious! Bought a tub for the house
DELICIOUS, love the pure quality and variety of innovative gelato flavours.Especially love the vegan and dairy-free choices!Never seen this place uncrowded.
It's where it all started from the Australian ice cream revolution and the wide ranging flavours all made on site (apple pie custard ice cream, anyone? . It's a surprisingly small outlet for Messina and seems to have less flavours on display than, for example, the Smith St shop in Melbourne. And whilst to my mind Messina has been surpassed (in Melbourne at least , it's still great ice cream particularly blood orange with vanilla (sadly they had no pistachio .
Best ice cream in Sydney. There are so many options for different taste buds. All of my family loves it from kids to adults.
