This is one of my favorite pizza places!!! Their prices are reasonable for pizzas that are of good quality. However, the 7.00 pizza won't approach the pizzas in the 20+ range (naturally). I love the amount of toppings, which seem more than most pizzerias.
I ordered from Snap bc it's one of the few pizzerias that does vegan cheese (I'm lactose intolerant). I was very excited to try it out! I ordered a cauliflower flower crust, mushrooms, olive, onions, and arugula. I received the pizza and it was sad. It looked like the toppings were roasted on the pizza. There wasn't enough cheese. The sauce was dried out. The pizza was okay.
I can't remain silent but a few caveats about my lousy review. It is based on one Doordash order. I ordered 2 cauliflower crust pizzas, their concoctions, so this isn't about my picking poorly. They tasted terrible and arrived very cold. Based on the timing of the delivery this wasn't a delivery issue but a packing and/or preparation issue. They were stingy with toppings and the combination of toppings just didn't taste very good. If there had been more cheese this might have kept the pizza's warmer, also if they had been better packed perhaps they would have stayed warmer. Maybe cauliflower crust doesn't hold its heat or moisture so well? Of course I could have popped them in my oven but that would have taken about thirty minutes to warm up and I was hungry. I had heard recommendations for this place and I was very disappointed. If I had enjoyed them at the shop they would have been warmer of course, but that doesn't address their mediocre construction and flavor. Just not gooey enough like good pizza is.
We order from Snap a lot and the quality is always great. I love that they have a variety of crust options (gluten-free, cauliflower, traditional). I always get the gluten-free crust, not due to an allergy, but because I'm sensitive to gluten. The first time I ordered from Snap, they called me personally to see if I'm gluten free by preference or due to an allergy. I appreciated this, especially for those customers who have Celiac, as it's important to prepare things separately to avoid cross-contamination. Pizzas are affordable and delicious. Delivery is always quick too. My only constructive piece of feedback is that I wish they would label the pizza boxes. One time my husband and I ordered the same pizza, but his had traditional crust and mine had gluten-free, so it was difficult to tell the difference. Overall, Snap is our go-to place for pizza delivery in Philly. Would highly recommend.
