フィードバックを提供するWe ate here while staying at the Mint for a birthday. We had a good time and the food was good but felt that it was a little over priced (i.e. $42 for an eggplant parm dish and over $100/person without alcohol). Staff was friendly but felt maybe a little under experienced/trained. Timing between courses was a little off (very long between one and then others right away). Cleanliness was perfect but noticed a lot of chipped dishes. Atmosphere was cozy with very comfortable seats. Overall we're glad we experienced it, would recommend to others but may/may not return.
We did the Chef’s Table for a special anniversary. One of our top meals of all time, and we are foodies. Chef Joe made a delicious and bountiful feast. Pastry Chef Angela entertained us with stories of her food tours through Italy and the remarkable history of the building while also giving us plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company and the amazing food. We got to see a restaurant kitchen at work (so peaceful and efficient back there—nothing like what you would think from watching The Bear! . Everything we had was top notch. Definitely try the antipasto “table scape” with delicious pickled veggies, cured meats, and fried items, and the rabbit crespelle, which is unbelievably delicious. The Chef’s Table was easily worth twice what we paid for it, and they even brought us complementary Prosecco to toast our anniversary. We will definitely be back!
Had late evening post dinner snack here while staying at the Devine Lorraine, was a sublime moment of cool.Ate: Eggplant Polpette, perfect unironic chefs kiss.Drank: fantastic rye and amaro cocktail (name eludes me now)On the whole it’s sort of giving Royal Tenenbaum living at the Waldor-Astoria vibes, in like the best possible way.
Brunch food minimal quantity and average taste. Not even bread given to table. Not worth the price.
I had dinner at this location on saturday, 2/17 evening. the restaurant atmosphere is one of the most beautiful rooms in all of Center city!!! and I dine out alot. Food was fabulous, staff really cared, and it was nice seeing the owner/chef make an appearance on the floor and adjust the staff to his will. Its definietly worth trying!!!! And not crazy prices either!!!!
