フィードバックを提供するBuns ice cold potatoe salad no flavor clam chowder terrible. Would not return.
Our waitress Marybeth was excellent, the fish sandwich I ate was out of this world. Very nice atmosphere, very reasonable. Will be back soon.
Unprofessional service by a shabby looking server. The food was poorly prepared and unappetizing to the eye. Our table was not clean. The entire place was dismal. While we were dining a person was dusting and sweeping around our table. There seem to be a total lack of managerial supervision.
Our server was excellent! The food was cold and I mean cool to the touch. I did send it back and they nuked it! My husbands fried platter was not good either, more batter than seafood. Way over priced for the quality.
We visited this IFC on Sat Feb 14 around 3pm to celebrate Valentine 's Day with friends and family. We were a total of 19 guests, 8 adults and 11 children. We were quickly setup in two tables on the south side along with other tables with children, next to the bar. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and we were all excited to visit this place for the first time from Miami after 1 1/2 hours drive due to heavy traffic on the overseas highway. First, our kids were on a table where the sun was hitting pretty hard through big window that appeared to have a roll down shade like I 've seen in many restaurants. We asked our waitress (we did not get her name) if she could lower the shade so it would not be so bright. She gave me and my wife a killer look and said There 's no shade with a bad attitude and asked somebody else in our table what he wanted to drink. Then two of the mothers went over the kids table to help the waitress take the order. We asked her for a kids menu and she said coldly there weren 't any printed and she would tell them what was available. She kept rolling her eyes and complained each time one kid ordered something or could not make their mind. We were already bothered by her attitude but were decided to make the best of our day trip to Islamorada. Our children were having fun and we had ordered our drinks and food already. Suddenly a manager approached the adult 's table, with a lot of demeanor, attitude and in an extremely nasty tone of voice , and demanded one of the adults needed to sit at the children 's table. All of these in a tone of voice other customers could hear and to make it even more evident started finger pointing the table where our kids were located. She went as far as stating we needed to control the children. Keep in mind all kids were sitting in their chairs and were talking and laughing normally like any kids do. Just as other kids in other tables were doing too. The manager states other customers complained, however when asked, she never said or stated who they were. She brushed it off by saying they already left and once again in an imperative manner demanded an adult sit with the children. We told her we were customers too and she said that we were being loud in the adults table also and demanded one more time to have one of us move to the children 's table. We were in shock. At this point, we advised the manager we were customers too, with a a big order, so we will not accept her attitude and to please cancel our entire food order. We reiterated we would leave rather than be treated that way. She replied OK and walked away. A few minutes later our waitress showed up with a couple of the drinks we ordered and we asked her to take them back becasue we were leaving. She was shocked to hear what just had happened and even her bad attitude changed to better. Then the hospitality manager, a very nice and professional guy, came over and asked if we wanted our order to go, we declined his offer and explained what happened. Two of the adults in our group before leaving asked to speak to the manager 's superior. They were referred to the same hospitality manager offering us our meals to go. Regardless of him being somewhat involved in the incident, they proceeded to inform him of the lack of service and how badly our group was treated. He did not have an explanation of why this happened. He tried reaching the manager over the walkie-talkie and she would not respond. All he knew was she was in the back deck. In other words, the manager had disappeared and we all left with the worst restaurant experience ever. Luckily we went to another nice waterfront place a few miles north of IFC and had a great time. We spent a lot of money in the other place eating, having drinks and a fun time. Those guys earned our monies and a BIG tip too!!! Shame on IFC!!!
