I came here the other day with my boyfriend. We walked in around 1. It was super slow. The girl at the front said there were tables open but since there were hardly any customers We decided to sit at a booth bc it was more comfortable.We proceed to wait for 15 min before anyone came over which is ridiculous. I felt uncomfortable bc they didn’t make us feel any type of welcome. We are both minorities also and that place is in the middle of lake highlands so they’re used to a different type of clientele . Typical . When we got our food we had to get up get our own napkins and silverware. There’s no reason why we had to sit there for that long to even be greeted .Our meal total was $31 plus $8 for taxes????? Our server Definitely did not get a tip bc he literally made no interest on speaking to us really. The food was delicious although I feel like it could use a little more seasoning but my only issue was poor customer service.

Was excited to try this with my friend but the chicken I ate from here made me sick for days . think I get salmonella. Won’t be back :(Edit : No , it was from your food . Your sense of grandiosity on any negative feedback to your restaurant as seen on other reviews is mad weird btw. I didn’t like the food it made me sick . My review stands .

Service was subpar. It 's great to see that this place is creating jobs but also a shame that hospitality does not trickle down from the top resulting in mediocre service. The food might be from scratch but it taste like Fisher Price My First Restaurant bland, nothing special here. Wine selection might as well be from Kroger. They keep their vermouth out... Atmosphere is a bait and switch it 's cute to look at but then you experience the place as a whole and leave disappointed. LAME!

Wow! The food here is excellent a smaller menu, but enough variety for everyone. My Chicken and Waffles was perfection. Chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. The waffle was fluffy. To be served with sliced strawberries and jalapeños is inspired. It’s a fantastic flavor combo. My friend raved about the Fish and Chips. In addition to the food, this is a cute restaurant with inside and outside dining. Plenty of parking immediately in front of the restaurant. Quiet enough to hear conversation across the table. As you walk inside, the booths along the right side wall face the air conditioner ducts, so you will get plenty of air if you need that. If not, ask to sit in another location. Menu prices are average for an upscale casual restaurant. I’ll definitely be going back! ???Vegetarian options: Salads with protein options

I don 't understand the good reviews, but then again it 's evident. The location in the middle of the burbs with atheistically pleasing decor and deception scratch kitchen slogan. Being nickeled and dimed for alternative milk is a ridiculous its 2023. The cost of alternative milks are not through the roof. The hospitality is extremely lacking, the food is a poor excuse for a scratch kitchen the avocado open face toast was flavor less. Cool you used everything bagel spice... they don 't know how fry an egg... the waffles are definitely from a box, and for a scratch kitchen utilizing a canned whipped cream? Really? High five for your location, ten thumbs down for the product you 're serving.
