Haute Sweets Hillcrest Village

It was a bit crowded on the weekend. The staff behind the counter was very welcoming and happy to serve us a few mouthwatering treats. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but it's worth the deliciousness that's sure to come.I especially love their Oatmeal Cream Pies—they remind me of the Little Debbie ones I ate growing up except thicker, softer, and pleasing to the taste buds!

Honestly if I'd have to say what was the best thing here would be the workers NOT THE BOSS. The first time that I was able to go there, I was greeted by this one worker (I think his name was Eric), I personally found him very relatable, kind and was overall the highlight of my day. However, from what I've seen when I'm over there, the boss (Jason, I think his name is) would treat his workers like dumb kids when they happen to do something wrong. Not only do the employees not get the tips, they're also treated horribly. Another thing their tarts and pies are way too sour imo. I'd say that their ice cream and the s'mores cookie are some of the only decent things there.Kid-friendliness: The workers are very nice to the kids that go in to order ice cream.

Love this place. Wish there were more bakeries around like this. The chains aren't the same. The desserts here taste homemade and delicious. It is never too artificial or overly sweet. Love. Wish the Lemon Olive Oil cake was year round!

10/10 customer service and taste. Ordered in advance and they were on time and delicious
