フィードバックを提供するI highly recommend you pass this place up. It is overpriced and the service is cold rather than professional. They treat you like they are better than you and you should feel privileged eating at their restaurant. The food is sub-par for the price, if they chopped the prices in half I would not complain. The soup I had was fishy and inedible. I will not go back.
Diners Beware! If you don't want to end up sick to your stomach and in the hospital like I did, then steer clear of Tucker. After eating the ribeye steak here on a Saturday nite, we returned home and developed mock 10 symptoms of food poisoning. I am sure it was cause of the rotten meat they served an it was my only meal of that day! Turns out Saturdays are there last day of the week before closing Sunday and Monday. God knows how long they had this rotten thing in their kitchen.
Wait staff was completely disorganized, they brought the wrong drinks twice and forgot two orders. Four times throughout the meal they tried to bring the wrong order to the table. The atmosphere was very nice. Food quality was marginal at best. Not impressed.
I have visited Tucker several times over the past six months and have never had a bad meal or a bad experience. The wait staff has always been professional, the atmosphere has always been congenial and pleasant, and the food! The food has always been exceptional and delicious! I've had the chicken, the scallops, and the corn pancake with the shrimp topping and all were excellent. The wine list is also top of the line. The Cakebread Cellar chardonnay is marvelous! They even have Tito's Vodka from the only true distillery in Texas! I highly recommend Tucker as a wonderful place to join friends, or take colleagues and business associates to have an enjoyable evening.
I thought you might like to have some feedback on a rather disappointing $220.00 evening spent at Tucker. I chose the restaurant over mixed reviews from numerous people I asked, as I thought it would be something a cut above the normal dining cache in Dallas. From the sloppy and informal greeting we received when we arrived, I feared the worst. After being seated and realizing there was only one attentive wait person in the establishment, I desperately wanted to terminate the Tucker experience, and head for Jeraboam or Parigi. However, it was a birthday we were celebrating and I graciously differed to the manners in which I was raised. The wait staff was beyond unprofessional. Unkempt to confuse in task, the tone was set for the evening. The food was uneventful. A rather boring menu at best. We were in Biloxi, MS, of all places the weekend before and the highlight of that trip was the fried green tomatoes with fresh crabmeat, topped with hollandaise. Yours fail in comparison. I could see or taste nothing to write home about. The only thing that was remotely enjoyable was the decor, but the atrocious service ruined the ambiance. To top the evening off, the peach and berry crumble was swimming in water like fluid, and the bread pudding was very DRY. What a disappointment and a total embarrassment. Please do not reply with an apology, as I simply cannot be bothered. I do not want anything from you at all. I just hope I can prevent other people from wasting the time and money on your experience.
