The food was excellent, but there was nowhere to sit and enjoy it. The exterior of the place looked quite questionable, but we were glad we took the chance.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. Don't miss out on trying their tacos and rice.

As for dietary restrictions, they are very considerate about not adding cheese or pork to my tacos and serve me wheat-free tortillas. The staff even remembers my preferences each time I visit, and I really appreciate that!

I am a proud Texican and I mean bidness when it comes to tacos. I search high and low in whatever neighborhood I live for the *best* dive taqueria around. I don 't speak English there. I don 't order tortillas de harina. I expect the very *best* salsa perrona, fresh everything ....breakfast tacos and lunch/dinner tacos.....great refried beans....and bonus if they accept plastic. I don 't want frills because the very best taquerias don 't have them. If you want a place to sit down while paying 3 times for frills and worse tacos, go to Velvet Taco. If you want the real deal....the tacos that will stay on your mind....the smiling staff that call you amiga and remember what you always order.....come here. You 'll be glad you did.

I LOVE this place. Food is always hot and made fresh!! I come here at least 3 times a week!
