Sunset Crab Shack - Dallas

Ordered Fish, shrimp, and fries. While I was waited I decided to order a Mango Margarita for only $3. A kind gentlemen paid for my drink ? lol So yeah, you can dine in and this place has a good chill vibe to it. Even though I ordered take out I kinda just want to chill there and eat. Let me start off by saying this was my 1st time here. I came in and placed a order to go. Drove 23 mins only to get home and my order was wrong. I ordered a crab boil and 1/2 pound of shrimp. They gave me all shrimp! When I called in they told me I needed to come back to the restaurant because the cook said he put crab in the bag. Clearly he didn?t because I had 2 different flavors and the crab boil don?t come with shrimp. I drove back to the restaurant where I met the

Sunset crab in this location could be upgraded. The staff is great, they are young they are very nice but they are not that well-trained. I had to ask twice for a refill of water, the young hostess told me I could sit anywhere and she was the one who provided me my refills of water while cleaning. Beautifully Decorated! Very Nice Ambiance I had the Red Snapper! OMG! It was so Absolutely Delicious! The asparagus big and was super tender! The Dirty Rice was seasoned and cooked to perfection! All That and Reasonably Priced!! I Highly Recommend!! I will be back! ??

The food had a lot of flavor but was not over powering. The service was excellent as the server was friendly and conversational without being intrusive. The sweet tea was a pleasant surprise but if sweet is not your thing then I wouldn't recommend it. Welcomed accessories with any seafood place are the scissors, bib, and gloves. The restaurant was clean, orderly, and was well kept by the staff. I highly recommend this wonderful gem.
