Metro Diner Oc - Dallas

I absolutely love this place! The breakfast is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the burgers are amazing. Highly recommend it!

Overall, it's a pretty decent diner. It could use a little more cleanliness, but the breakfast offerings are excellent!

When I tried to call to place a pickup order, I couldn't get through. I called ten times in a row—sometimes it would ring, but no one would answer. Other times, I just got a busy signal. After four failed attempts, I finally got a ring on the fifth call, but they answered and then hung up on me. It’s Sunday, December 10, 2023, and whoever is handling the phone tonight needs to be addressed. This is a recurring issue for me. The staff seems quite lazy. I would look for another place, but I tend to go there out of habit because they occasionally pick up when I'm on my way to work.

I 've been coming here since 2010 and absolutely loved the food and staff who were here. They made any meal a little more enjoyable with their hospitality. A few years ago, something changed. I 'm not sure if it 's management or just not owned by someone else entirely, but I feel as if it 's lost its spark. The food is now okay, but I sure do miss Ms. Donna and Ms. April.

I've been eating here a long time. But this time was different. Table was dirty. Steak was raw and full of fat a gristle. Sprite was syrup. Onion rings were hard as a rock and tasted like grease had never been changed out. I'd maybe understand if they was busy but they were not busy at all. The waiter was really nice, and like I said I been coming to this place a long time so I'm not going to do 1 star. Waiter is what kept that from happening. (She still got tipped) That and all the good meals I have had there over the past 20 yrs. But I won't waste another 70 bucks and tip next time.
