Maguire's Regional Cuisine - Dallas

Love this restaurant. The food is wonderful and service top notch. Can enjoy a nice evening meal with friends and family and actually hear everyone at the table. Not like all those noisy restaurants. My favorite dinner is the salmon…and I’m very picky about my salmon.

Busy day...we reserved a table for 5 for Thanksgiving. They were super busy. We were sat at a 4 top with a chair at the end, but we made it work. The problem was, they kept bringing us four things.... Starting with silverware, waters, beverages. All the way to waiting for a dessert spoon, this is what made sitting at a crowded 4 tip in the corner a problem...someone was always left waiting for theirs . The maguires salad was missing the signature apple slices. I got the Turkey and dressing, which they spilled the gravy off of my plate onto the table, when serving...leaving none on the plate. The food was delicious.. daughter got the redfish and she enjoyed that as well. The desserts were ok, but the crème brûlée was runny, and the sugar crust was melting under the fruit they put on top. The pecan pie was perfect, though. I know they were busy, and have always enjoyed their food. The key to Thanksgiving out in Dallas is eating early.... Booking in the afternoon, you run a big chance of shortages and exhausted staff.

Slow service , attempt to up sell dessert , even though we never wanted it . Hostess was more engaged then waitress.. I really was not impressed, and I'm usually pretty relaxed . It was hotter than hell (Temperatures) in dining area , after about the first hour . An hour and half Saturday night is ok at a 5 star upscale restaurant, not there . Food was not bad , actually redeeming point .

Cheese grits were good! Of course it all goes as good!

Great experience for us! Just moved to the area and wanted something different. So happy we gave them a shot! Really cool north Dallas vibe, great food and the service we received from Elle was exceptional! Will be back for sure!
