フィードバックを提供するThis was my second time to eat in derby and although eating and service was amazing for dinner, they surpassed my expectations for brunch. Love the atmosphere and mood and eating and service are exceptional. I wish they were open at the weekend.
First the good news. Very cool, unique environment with the vintage cars visible from nicely done dining area as well as a couple entrances to go out and get a closer look at the cars. Also a bar near the entrance that we did not visit. Was hoping to love the food here more than I did in order to assure many repeat visits. Unfortunately the food was “just okay”. The “crispy wild mushrooms” were nice and hot, but rather mushy. The “crispy pork katsu” (highly recommended was nothing at all like pork katsu I’ve had at Japanese restaurants. The pork seemed like a formed processed rather thick piece of meat, breaded but swimming in liquid. Which equated to soggy breading, not overly crispy, that fell off the pork in two big sheets. The noodles and stir fry had an okay taste but nothing I’d order again. The large portion of (I think beer battered? fries I saw at the table next to us looked fantastic. I wanted to grab some! Sorry. Really wanted it to work! Definitely worth at least one visit to figure it out for yourself. If I had car enthusiasts visiting, I’d probably come back.
Cool cars good food and drinks sat down quickly and was served promptly
Great experience and my boyfriend loved it! Will definitely be back!
A friend recommended it as a place she knew my son would enjoy because our boys LOVE cars. She was right. The collection is amazing! We loved the food as well. We went on a Sunday afternoon had brunch and it wasn’t super busy. We want to try their dinner menu so, we will be back.
