Samarkand - Dakhla

The restaurant has a fantastic view and a few good options on the menu. The service is mediocre and not very friendly. They are mindful of vegetarian preferences.

I visited this restaurant 4 years ago and I am happy to say that it is still excellent. The chef is amazing and I enjoyed some delicious spaghetti, a fresh salad, and a satisfying breakfast. The view from the restaurant in Dakhla is truly breathtaking, overlooking the ocean. I highly recommend this place and would give it 5 stars.

This coffee shop and restaurant is intimate and stylish, with a great view of the sea and a beautiful bakery inside. The Moroccan design elements blend North African, Mediterranean, and Islamic styles, making for a unique atmosphere. While the food is not the cheapest, everyone recommends a visit to this popular spot.

The location is lovely and always bustling with people, making it a great spot for a drink. However, I would not recommend eating here. The service is quite slow and the menu selection is limited.

Samarkand is a beautiful and relaxing café and restaurant directly overlooking the vast blue lagoon in Dakhla, Morocco. Conveniently located in a popular downtown area on Boulevard Mohammed V near other cafés, restaurants and hotels, you walk into a beautiful garden surrounded by bougainvillea with individual seating areas in semi-private arcades and lattice pergolas. Samarkand is a great place to enjoy a coffee, tea, soda or water while watching the children swimming in the shallow waters of the lagoon accessed from a white sand beach and rocks. Upstairs is a moderately-priced restaurant with pizza, fish and other food items. There is also a direct view of the lagoon from the restaurant.
