Now mind you. I went on a week day I believe a Monday after football practice. Our regular spot when we arrived they were closing in 10 minutes . WHAT! It was like 830. We have seen this place for the last 4 years and just never stopped in but this particular evening. It was late we were all tired and hungry so we gave it a shot. Wow. It was clean open until 10pm and empty. But the music was authentic and the space inviting. Now we are a habitual family and was open to a new Mexican spot but skeptical. We didn't look at reviews we were just decent place to sit and eat. We were so pleasantly surprised! The food presentation was very very nice. I wanted to eat it very badly. The taste amazing, no really amazing . It taste like somebody's mother was in the kitchen just putting her all into it. 3 separate dishes and we were all pleased. Our waitress lovely she explained everything, it was our first time there so we had questions. Well it was better than our spot we had been so loyal to all these years. We will likely not go back to our old spot. It had gotten crowded, service at 50%. Might as well do a drive through. Sure they have live music and huge TVs. But we embody great food and service first. Then of course the rest, cleanliness, and atmosphere. That place we had gone less and less to. Now we are thrilled to give El Fogon Cantina our patronage.Kid-friendliness: Our 7 year old was happy to be there

Everything was amazing! The attention and customer service my coworkers and I received was phenomenal. Food was so delicious. The fried shrimp were huge. The owner and wife were so welcoming. This will be our after work vibe. Ty for everything..Revive Medical Center!Food: 5/5

We absolutely love this place. We come every week on our one day off. The food and drinks are always great, and the service is always outstanding.... Someone is always checking to make sure everything is just as you like it and that you don't need anything. We come in the early afternoons and it's a great atmosphere... if only my husband would sit on the patio..

I come to El Fogon at least every 2 weeks for “girls night” with my close friends ! We love the food, and the service ! The waitresses are really nice and walk you through the menu ! The bartender is also amazing! Her drinks are amazing ! My all time favorite is the shrimp tacos, El Fogon Special and El Fogon Feliz (I get chicken AND shrimp) ! Management also takes care of you !
