Ordered food told would be about an hour no probs with that phoned an hour and 15mins later to be told the foods ready but the delivery driver’s not back yet be another 15mins or so before he is! So (a) how long has the food been sitting on the side getting cold and (b) how much longer do we have to wait?! Why not be honest from the start and tell us they only have one delivery driver on a Friday night!

Today, i went to this fish and chip shop. it was HORRENDOUS. the chips were so plain and dry and the chicken nuggets weren’t even better. which i also paid for 6 nuggets but only got given 4. the worker dose t care about your needs at-all and will twist ur words. i ordered a burger with BURGER SAUCE and i received a burger with garlic sauce. the burger even had no cheese or lettuce in it like how it was displayed. i complained that i got garlic sauce but the worker didn’t care and said that i asked for garlic cause when i had never. never going back again. disgusting.

My partner and I are on a little getaway near Tring and decided to try this fish and chip shop. We ordered and were told it would take 45-60 minutes. Which was fair enough as it was 6:30pm so prime dinner time. After 70 minutes we had not received our order so called them to enquire. Apparently the driver had been trying to find us for 20 minutes, but we had not received any calls even after giving them our phone number. After walking around and finding the driver, my partner was then shouted at as if it were our fault. Our order was then wrong. I called the shop and was told it would be another 40-60 minutes until the correct order arrived. I told them it wasn't worth it. I then got shouted at, as it was my fault the driver could not find us in the first place. After replying that it was not my fault as they had my number and I was sitting on my phone waiting for the call, the employee decided to hand me over to the manager. I was finally apologised to and offered money off on our next visit but we will not be visiting again so I turned that down. They finally said they could deliver our order again in 15 minutes so I ensured I was outside waiting for them to make it easy to find us. This order then took 30 minutes to get to us. By this point, my partners meal was only warm because we had put it in the oven after it being cold when we received it. I would not recommend this takeaway as I do not tolerate being shouted at by grown men over the phone over something that could have been easily solved without playing the blame game. Additionally, after waiting 70 minutes for food, the order should not be wrong. Play it safe and order elsewhere.

Had their takeaway fish and chips they are excellent. Be prepared to wait as they will be queueing out of the door, but the locals are queueing for a reason they are superb and worth the wait.
