フィードバックを提供するWe visited the restaurant during Chinese New Year and were pleasantly surprised to find a discount for checking in. Even without the discount, we would highly recommend this place. The food is delicious and generously portioned, and the staff are enthusiastic and friendly.
After spending several days in Vietnam eating Vietnamese dishes, many of us were eager to try something different. I had made plans before our trip to have Italian and Spanish cuisine on our last night in Da Nang. The driver took us directly to the restaurant, where we managed to get a table even though it was quite busy. We ordered a complimentary bread basket with tangy dipping sauce, followed by a Hawaiian pizza with ham, pineapple, mozzarella, and tomato sauce. We also enjoyed a prosciutto e funghi pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, and mushrooms, as well as a truffle pizza with mushrooms and ham. The caprese salad featured buffalo mozzarella, vine-ripened tomatoes, and fresh basil. For pasta, we had linguine alle vongole with local clams in olive oil, garlic, and parsley, and spaghetti allo scoglio with a variety of seafood in a garlic and tomato sauce with fresh parsley. To finish off our meal, we tried the classic lasagna. The flavors were delightful, and it was a nice change from the Vietnamese cuisine we had been enjoying.
Good authentic Italian food reasonable prices in Danang. Margherita pizza was good, beef carpaccio was average but the spaghetti carbonara was outstanding! (pasta cooked to al dente perfection and the sauce was so fragrant pasta was not soggy). For wine by the glass, go for the pinot grigio because the Chianti is forgettable. Note: The restaurant menu is available online.
My friends and I entered the restaurant around 1p.m. on a Saturday. We did not know that they are closing around 3p.m. Instead of asking us to leave, the staff patiently waited until we paid for the bill and left. We found out that they were closing early when the owner left the place early and the staff were cleaning the whole place for their closing shift.
It's simple: If you're looking for the most authentic Italian cuisine in Da Nang, you must visit Limoncello. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the homemade Limoncello is amazing. The owner, Paulo, is also very friendly - if you see him, definitely strike up a conversation.
