Louie's Grille - Cumberland Center

Louie's is a cozy and welcoming family-owned restaurant, usually with family members on staff. It's my go-to spot for dining out. I've never had a bad meal or experienced poor service there. As an experienced home cook, I often leave disappointed when dining out, but that’s never the case at Louie's. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is both respectful and friendly. I highly recommend it for any occasion.

Our family used to come here more frequently but hadn't been for awhile. Thought we would try it on Valentine's evening, and must say it was a mixed bag. I probably am giving a 4 instead of a 3 only because I know this is a good restaurant, but this was definitely an off night for them. If this The place was full, but we had a good waitress, who was busy but attentive. I had a special of haddock w/seafood stuffing newburg sauce. We also had ravioli with meatballs and adult Mac cheese. Salads came out fast and were fresh with homemade dressings. We then waited an hour for our main meals. When they came out, the mac's topping was burnt and noodles were cold. My son ate it because we were starving by that point, but he was not impressed. The ravioli was good with homemade sauce and Bruno's ravioli. A good sized meatball came with it that were tasty. Now the fish...this could have been epic and almost was. The haddock was a generous portion, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The issue was the seafood stuffing was almost non existent! There was a thin coat of it under the fish that I literally scraped up from the bottom of my dish. I don't recall any seafood in it. It was really yummy and buttery, so really wish I had been given enough to really enjoy. The flavor of that dish was 5 star, but for the lack of stuffing. A cold side of rice pilaf was also disappointing. I can say from past experiences try the honey butter haddock or baked scallops they are fantastic! We will be back and I will re review when I do, but tonight was not a great night for them.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants in Cumberland County. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

First and foremost we enjoy our visit's since discovering Louis's. It has become our favorite spot when eating out. Our most recent visit with friends was not as good. The steak tips were overdone along with some confusion with appetizers which they corrected and even removed the charge on bill ! It's probably the new kitchen staff learning and we will return again. Thank you Jim and our pleasant waitress !!! Merry Christmas Service: Dine in
