At first the pulled pig was not the greatest thing I ever had, but all in all it was really good pork. Don't forget to ask for BBQ sauce, and although the pig didn't need it, I missed it. Second, the potato salad, I just want to say that this was the best potato salad I've ever had. And I was honestly disappointed that I didn't get any more. Finally and most important is tea. While it wasn't my favorite tea because I like crazy sweet tea, it was far better than some places I got tea from. I'll try again. Absolutely. I get something else, probably. (Except, of course, for potato salad. But for my time and 10 dollars it was a very delicious lunch.
This was my first time trying this place and I am so glad I did! I got the pulled pork potatoe and my friends got the pulled pork sandwhich plates. They gave a lot of food and it was really good for a great price. All 4 of us ate and it was under $30. The service was very friendly and very fast as well.
Picked up a turkey sandwich and a barbecue sandwich both for excellent. I just love the turkey sandwich.
This restaurant has been around since my childhood, and I have fond memories of it. In my opinion, it's the best spot for BBQ potatoes in Cullman. The staff could be a bit friendlier, but the food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend it—10/10!
This is hands down the best BBQ in North Alabama! I used to be a fan of Jim Nicks and the now lackluster Johnny's (which was amazing back in the 1970s but has really declined over the past 50 years). The standout flavor of this fantastic Southern Hickory BBQ is a solid 10. My only quirk is that they strangely add mayonnaise to the BBQ sandwich, which is an interesting twist!
