Schiano's Pizza - Crystal River

I've had pizza from New Jersey and New York City several times, and while the pizza up there is definitely good (they're famous for it, after all!), I have to say that the pizza here is absolutely amazing! I really hope that the lackluster mall (if you can even call it that) eventually closes so that Shiano can thrive. It's truly the best New York-style pizza you can find in Florida, not to mention in the entire South!

I really enjoyed the pizza here. It was voted #1 in Citrus County! The crust was perfectly cooked with a nice, crispy texture. I just wish I didn't have to travel across the district to get to a mall for it.

Best pizza between Tampa and Navarra. I have to stop pizza place on every trip between these cities, and I have them on the quick choice! Love the veggie pizzas

This is the best pizza I've ever had, but sadly I live in Tallahassee now, where people don't know how to make real pizza. The sauce, toppings, and dough are amazing. You have to have all three for a delicious pizza and Schiano's has it.
