Triple Berry Café - Crystal Lake

Ate here for lunch. Greeted right away by a friendly young man. Had a new server and she was great prompt, friendly, checked on us during the meal, answered our questions about the food. (We were first timers. I had a turkey wrap, which was fresh andtasty. The turkey is just cheap lunchmeat though, not roasted turkey. Wasn't crazy about the fries they're the kind with thefunky crispy coating. Husband had the Chi gyros which was supposed to be a combination of beef and lamb, so he was expectingslices of Italian beef and lamb gyro which it wasn't. It was just a regular gyro. So maybe the gyro meat is a lamb beefcombination? But then, why would it be called a CHI gyro?! A slight annoyance pop music was playing way too loud on theoverhead speakers. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but a decent place to stop if you're in the area and need a quickbite that's not fast food.

Great little local spot. Service is great, the hosts are good my only complaint is that the food never comes out hot. Biscuits and gravy are lukewarm, eggs and sausage/bacon come out at ambient temperature. I've been here half a dozen times and have hadthe same experience every time.

This place is absolutely amazing, this is definitely now out weekly bunch spot. My wife for the Country Fried Steak and Eggs and she loved it, also it was SOO much food. I got the Santa Fe Benedict and? honestly this was possible the most flavorful dish Ihave ever had in my life.

I wanted to check this place out for Father?s Day and I LOVED IT. The interior is beautiful and spaced out perfectly and the atmosphere is wonderful. Our waitress was really nice and the food portions are perfect, I finished my food, but the others Iwent with brought home their pancakes. The turkey bacon tasted really good and the eggs could?ve been better, but they stilltasted good. I loved the pancakes, they tasted really good even when they are plain. I will be back soon! Well deserved 5 outof 5!

No doubt about it the food is amazing.The french toast had so much sweetness with alot of flavor. However, for a Sunday morning the service lacked enthusiasm and remembrance. Im being told the cafe side is close so no smoothies or cappuccinos then half wayof the meal I noticed 2 other tables had cappuccinos and lattes. I see I see ???????? mmmm makes you wonder....
