Cafe Olympic - Crystal Lake

Brunch is my favorite time to go, but they're great for lunch as well! The biscuits and gravy are a must try. Cinnamon buns tend to sell out quick, the early you're there, the better chance you have to try them! Great place for anyone vegan/vegetarian, tons of tasty options, including on the specials list!

The only way you'll be disappointed by Cafe Olympic is if you go expecting a slow, low-quality greasy spoon. 4 of us had 4 different entrees, and each one surprised the heck out of us with how well-made and delicious it was. Happy and fast service, big servings, just great food. Don't let the dated diner aesthetic throw you off: this is a truly excellent restaurant.

Super cute cafe in Downtown Crystal Lake with amazing food and staff! We had a Denver skillet and a Sausage breakfast sandwich and could barely finish our food so the portions are big. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu!

Very attentive and polite server and nice coffee. It took them 45 minutes to prepare the skillet. Made with frozen hash browns. Soggy! Owner should find better staff for the kitchen.
