Crozet Pizza

As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I am very particular about my pizza. I have found what I consider to be the best New York style pizza in Virginia at a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The pizza is well-balanced and flavorful, with a chewy crust that has the perfect snap. The toppings are high quality and the staff is friendly. For a nostalgic dining experience, I recommend visiting their Crozet location. If you are looking for deep dish, Sicilian, or floppy crust pizza, this may not be the place for you.

The focus here is on the crust! This restaurant has been open since 1977, which is a good enough reason to check it out. The atmosphere is comfortable, with a great selection of beers - although I prefer more local options on tap, like those from Nelson County rather than just Roanoke. Even though my order was made incorrectly, they quickly rectified the mistake by making me an extra real pizza without me even having to ask. I brought a friend along to try the food, and they were blown away by how good it was. They are now a fan and plan to come back in the future because the pizza was just that good!

Had the taste for pizza. This place on a search engine reviews it as one of the top pizzas in Virginia. There is no possibility that they have received such an assessment from that we have served with. Not even close! Shown generous toppings. 16 Classic, had two to three pepperoni per slice, could hardly find the mushrooms and we had added bacon that was quite unavailable. $42 with two sweet teas in a plastic cup. We had much better off the pizza hat for $10. And they have brown paper plates to cut and eat pizza.

Great place, very nice atmosphere, friendly and quick service, good pizza and many different beers from local breweries.
