Pop's Italian Beef Sausage Palos Heights

Have been dining at this place for years. It is so hit or miss. This time the food was average at best....mabye a C-. They weren't too busy so we decided to dine in. Didn't take long to get our food, but it arrived cold... not sure how that was evenpossible!!! We both had the Italian beef. They weren't even hot enough to melt the mozzarella cheese! Should have probably saidsomething, but not sure what if any good it would have done.

Ok to preface this: My family has been patronizing this place for years. It?s gone downhill. Absolutely atrocious gyros, like rancid or something. Come here if you want to be thoroughly disgusted with your food

I was going to leave a scathing detailed review, instead I?m choosing not to and I just won?t eat there anymore. Take your chances with their fast food and service, or just go someplace else like me.

We have been going to pops for 12 years the food quality and service has been spot on! But however today 7-16-2022 we stoped and got 4 hot dogs it was over $12.00 which is whatever we got home the hot dogs where cold and hard the fries where fine I nevercomplain never but cold food this is the worse. That we had from pops in crown point it will be a while for we go back!

And again, another extra dipped beef served DRY. Looks like im going to Portillos next time.(7/28) NOT COOL Pop's! 3 stars because it's never happened before- Come on guys! You KNOW better. I never thought Pops would be guilty of crimes against beef,but here we are. Tonight my beef sandwich had the cheese on TOP, and though I asked for extra wet, I got a DRY bun. DRY! INCHICAGOLAND!?! Thanks to your not one, but TWO acts of indecency upon a defenseless beef sandwich, she now sits, cold and alonein the fridge. Uneaten and unloved. What man would want her now? The hot dogs were good.
