Any place is about the people who work there. The room was clean and well stocked with tea/coffee etc. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. Chef, with a cheery smile, was happy to do poached eggs for us. The swimming pool and changing rooms were also clean and well kept. Ample room for parking and is so close to the railway station. Rooms: 5

We had a lovely afternoon tea for 2. Staff were lovely, friendly and polite. Another great thing, is if you can't manage to eat all the scrumptious cakes you have the option to take them home with you, so no food goes to waste( great idea).
