Extremely hostile supervisor working at night called the police on my husband, ten year old son and I over a suspected counterfeit $10 bill. When asked why they would not accept it, they would not tell me why and I eventually offered to pay with a different bill, but they did not want that either. My husband was not aggressive at all, and only wanted an explanation as to why they would not take this TEN DOLLAR BILL. They called police, and told us they have a counterfeit detector in the back, the bill was fake, and we were to leave immediately because the employees “did not want us there”. Humiliating experience in front of our young son. I first reached out around a month ago but have only received one email back saying they would get back to me soon and the issue was important. However, it does not seem to be. We love chick fil an and are hurt that this happened over a ten dollar bill to pay for our son’s to-go order. We are restaurant owners and are able to detect counterfeit bills pretty easily and only wanted an explanation as to WHY this bill wasn’t accepted, but we’re treated like criminals. We have never had an experience like this at any other chick fil a and will continue to go to the Orland park one where the employees and managers are incredibly kind and would never treat us like aggressive criminals over a ten dollar bill and asking for an explanation.

Asked for grill chicken got fried..asked for large waffle fry, they were cold...the only thing they got right was my complimentary cup of water...no sauce..no napkins...not the spot for
Food here is always pretty good, service is fast not always correct but i’m so glad i found multiple reviews regarding sandy and the way she treats the employees, i have no idea how she still has a job in the service industry and gets away with her nightmarish behavior making the environment miserable for the workers. when i worked here i was getting tormented and picked on non stop by this manager and i would go home crying after every shift to the point where we had to have a sit down with the owner and sandy. this was my first real job and i obviously lacked experience but instead of teaching and redirecting i would be called slow. i would say my experience working here wasn’t bad except for shifts where sandy was present. if you don’t like your job or customer service DONT WORK THERE!
