Third Bowl Homemade Ice Cream

Delicious homemade ice cream with a wide variety of flavors, including dairy-free options, is available at this shop. It shares a space with Tin Cup, a restaurant that currently only serves lunch due to staffing shortages. However, you can still enjoy ice cream after lunch or dinner. We picked up our scoops on our way back to the hotel for the night. The staff scooping the ice cream were very friendly and courteous. While you can try a sample, we already had our minds made up. My dad opted for a single scoop cone of regular chocolate, I chose a single scoop cup of dark chocolate, and my boyfriend had a two-scoop cup of cookies and cream. Our total came to about $16, which seems a bit pricey, but considering it’s homemade and located in a tourist-heavy area, it’s worth it—most importantly, it's delicious! I particularly enjoyed the dark chocolate; it was a great choice—super rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The cookies and cream was the least impressive, as it had a slightly icy texture. Here’s hoping for another visit before we leave town!

Delicious ice cream! I was taken aback by the long line, but I soon understood that it was definitely worth the wait. This place is fantastic! The dairy-free ice cream was outstanding, and I loved having so many options. My only suggestion would be to have one more person working there to help speed up the line. Nonetheless, I highly recommend visiting this spot on your next trip to Crested Butte. Thank you!

The best coffee toffee ice cream I've ever tasted! It had real coffee grounds mixed in, and the toffee pieces were large enough to provide a nice crunch and were quite plentiful. My second choice was honey lavender, which I sampled and enjoyed. They also offered a unique dish called "ants on a log," made with celery ice cream, but I didn't dare to try that one. If you're in the area, you definitely need to give this place a visit!

Been going to TB for 7 years now, and it's still the best! It's so good. Have tried multiple flavors, and have to recommend the vanilla. It's the best vanilla I've ever had!
